If you could go anywhere, where would you go? The Sea of Monsters (Rick Riordan)

Your favorite form of transportation: The Coil (Gail Lynds)

Your best friend is: The Sugar Queen (Sarah Addison Allen)

You and your friends are: Birds of Prey: Of Like Minds (Gail Simone)

What’s the weather like: Heat Wave (Richard Castle)

You fear: The Savage (David Almond)

What is the best advice you have to give: Size 12 is Not Fat (Meg Cabot)

Thought for the day: In Odd we Trust (Dean Koontz)

How I would like to die: Chasing Vermeer (Blue Balliett)

  1. I love this (of course)! Excellent idea.

Wait, Heat Wave is a real book???

@Julia It is! It even has Nathan Fillion’s picture on the back! It’s actually pretty good, short and sweet, reads like watching an episode of Castle.

That’s crazy! Did they like loosely base the show on the real Richard Castle, or did someone write a book because of the show?

It’s kinda like a gimmick for the show, it’s the book that Castle is researching while shadowing Beckett and her team. Someone (it doesn’t say who anywhere on the book itself, but my boss thinks it’s Stephen Cannell who’s been on several episodes) wrote the book as Richard Castle. I think it’s a fantastic concept, wonderful for people who are already readers and great incentive for those who aren’t readers to grab a book!
