Wait, Heat Wave is a real book???

@Julia It is! It even has Nathan Fillion’s picture on the back! It’s actually pretty good, short and sweet, reads like watching an episode of Castle.

That’s crazy! Did they like loosely base the show on the real Richard Castle, or did someone write a book because of the show?

It’s kinda like a gimmick for the show, it’s the book that Castle is researching while shadowing Beckett and her team. Someone (it doesn’t say who anywhere on the book itself, but my boss thinks it’s Stephen Cannell who’s been on several episodes) wrote the book as Richard Castle. I think it’s a fantastic concept, wonderful for people who are already readers and great incentive for those who aren’t readers to grab a book!
